Itinerary
Flight to Marrakech. Upon arrival at Menara Airport, personalized welcome by the tour guide. Transfer to the hotel / riad. Check into the rooms. Dinner and accommodation depending on arrival times.
Breakfast. Departure for the historical tour of La Perle du Sud, which will take us to the Bahia Palace, passing by the Saadian Tombs. Then we will finish with the Menara gardens before heading towards Essaouira. We will cross the country of the argan tree, an endemic tree of the southwest Moroccan region that produces a highly appreciated oil. It is not uncommon to see goats hanging from their branches!!! Upon arrival, lunch (not included). Visit of the old Mogador, a city built by the Portuguese in white and blue colors. Tour of the ramparts and the Medina, famous for its craftsmanship and especially for its woodwork. Visit of the fishing port located at the foot of the ramparts, which offers a permanent show in a burst of colors. Visit of the Marine gate and the Mellah. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and then departure for Casablanca. Stop in Safi, known for its pottery. Continue to El Jadida. Lunch (not included) in Oualidia. Stop at El Jadida and visit the Portuguese cistern ( to be paid on site ). Continue to Casablanca and take a city tour of the economic metropolis: Anfa residential district and Ain Diab Corniche, Mohammed V Square, highlighted by a stop at the esplanade of the new Hassan II Mosque (interior visit of the Mosque is optional + 140 MAD / pax and must be arranged in advance – closed on Fridays, Sunday afternoons, and public holidays – First visit at 9h00 AM, last visit at 02h00 PM). Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Travel to Rabat and visit the administrative capital: The Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Oudayas Gardens. Departure for Meknes. Lunch (not included). In the afternoon, tour of the city characterized by its triple enclosure of 40 km: El Hedim Square, Bab Khémis, Bab Mansour which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the only mosque accessible to non-Muslims outside of the Hassan II Grand Mosque, following the wish of Marshal Lyautey. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure for Volubilis. Visit to the Roman ruins before continuing to Fes with a photo stop at Moulay Idriss, a pilgrimage site. Tour of Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco and certainly the most beautiful of the Imperial Cities. Exploration of the Medina or "Fes El Bali" and its historical monuments: visit to the Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and finally an exterior view of the Karaouine Mosque, the first university in the world. Lunch (not included) suggested in an old palace of the medina. Continuation of the tour of the Medina with a discovery of the Fassi artisanal richness through the different souk districts, which are certainly the most enchanting in Morocco. In the late afternoon, visit to the new city or Fes El Jedid, its enclosure, the Royal Palace. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure for a long stage to Marrakech through the mountainous landscapes of the Middle Atlas, passing through Ifrane, a pleasant little mountain town located in the heart of a cedar forest and surrounded by streams, and also a popular winter sports resort for Moroccans. Continue on to Azrou. Lunch (not included). Visit of the Aïn Asserdoun spring in Beni Mellal. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure for Marrakech. Lunch (not included) suggested in a palace of the medina. Stroll through the souks of the medina and discover the different neighborhoods of the medina. We will end at Djémâa El Fna square as the show comes alive: snake charmers, acrobats, monkey trainers, fortune tellers will bewitch you. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
