Itinerary
Flight to Marrakech. Upon arrival at Menara airport, personalized welcome and transfer to the hotel / riad. Dinner depending on arrival times and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel for the historical tour of La Perle du Sud. This visit will take us from the Menara gardens to the Bahia Palace, via the Saadian Tombs, and end with a tour of the exterior of the Koutoubia. Lunch (not included) suggested in the Medina. In the afternoon, departure for a stroll in the souks of the medina and discovery of Djémâa El Fna square as the entertainment comes alive : snake charmers, acrobats, monkey trainers, fortune tellers will enchant you. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Departure for Ouarzazate through the High Atlas with a parade of varied and enchanting landscapes and small villages arranged in terraces. Stop at the Tizi-n-Tichka pass located at 2260 m and the highest road point in Morocco. Descent to Ouarzazate up to Aït Ben Haddou where we will have lunch (not included) facing the Casbah, a site classified as a universal heritage by UNESCO and famous for the many film shootings that took place there. Then visit the Taourirt Casbah. Check-in at the, dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Departure for Zagora, an ancient caravan stop at the gates of Western Sahara.. Stop at Agdz, a small administrative center dominated by the huge cliff of Jebel Kissane, marking the boundary of the eastern foothills of the Anti-Atlas. Continue to Zagora along the Drâa River lined with a multitude of palm groves and about fifty kasbahs and Ksours. Lunch (not included). Continue to the Tamegroute Oasis where we will visit the medieval library with its Quranic works. Then we will head to the Tinfou Dunes for a first glimpse of the desert. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure to Erfoud via Tansikht through the beautiful and lush Drâa Valley lined with a multitude of Ksour. Lunch (not included) on the road at Tazzarine. Continue on to Erfoud. Stop at Rissani to contemplate the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chérif, founder of the Alaouite dynasty. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure for Tineghir. Excursion into the Todra Gorges, which are a narrow corridor about twenty meters wide formed by two sheer cliffs 300 meters high. From the road leading to the gorges, we will be able to admire the fabulous palm grove of Tineghir. Lunch (not included). In the afternoon, stroll through the gardens of the palm grove and visit a Berber carpet factory. Continue to Boulmane du Dadès. Check-in, dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Then departure for Ouarzazate via the road lined with many Casbahs and along the Dadès Valley. We will cross the town of Kelâa M’Gouna, famous for its rose bushes. Stop at the Amerhidil Casbah in the Skoura palm grove. Lunch (not included) in Ouarzazate and continuation to Marrakech through the High Atlas. Check-in, dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Free time depending on flight schedules. Transfer to the airport and assistance.
