Combined North - Imperial Cities Tour from Rabat

Breakfast. Departure to Asila. Guided tour of Asilah, an old Portuguese city, to explore its typical medina with walls painted with drawings. Lunch (not included). Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure towards Tangier with a detour to the Caves of Hercules for a visit, then to Cape Spartel which marks the end of the African continent. Continuing towards the center of Tangier with the possibility of a stop for a walk in the Perdicaris park. Arrival in Tangier and lunch (not included). Then meeting with our local tour guide for the visit of the medina starting from the Grand Socco square. Visit of the Kasbah located at the highest point of the city. Continuation to the Bab el Raha gate which leads to a large terrace overlooking the Atlantic and offering a view up to the Spanish coasts on the other side of the Strait of Gibraltar. Visit of the Kasbah museum which contains a collection of antiquities, ancient objects, and statues tracing the history of the Tangier region. Then you can gently descend towards the port passing through the small Socco lined with cafes and old hotels that had their heyday. Stop in front of the large mosque that Sultan Moulay Ismail had built at the end of the 17th century on the ruins of an old Portuguese cathedral. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.

Breakfast. Departure for Tetouan with part of the route along the coastal road and Cabo Negro from where the Rock of Gibraltar can be seen. Arrival in Tetouan at the top of the medina where the old Kasbah, Alcasaba, is located. Guided tour of the medina with lunch (not included). Arrival in Chefchaouen, a beautiful small town in the heart of the Rif with white and blue colors that has retained its Andalusian style. Exploration of the town with a local guide. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure for Fez. Upon arrival, lunch (not included). Tour of the new city with a local guide: the gates of the Royal Palace then we will head to Borj Nord to enjoy a panoramic view of the medina and get an introduction to the city of Fez by our local guide. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Discover with our local guide the Medina or "Fès El Bali" and its historical monuments : visit the Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain and finally an external view of the Karaouine Mosque, the first university in the world. Visit the Nejjarine fundouk and its wood museum. The tour of the Medina continues with the discovery of the rich Fassi craftsmanship through the various souk districts, which are certainly the most enchanting in Morocco, including the tanners' quarter. Lunch (not included). Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.

Breakfast. Departure for the magnificent site of the Volubilis ruins and visit with a mandatory local guide. Then exploration of the holy city of Moulay Idriss with lunch (not included) at Moulay Idriss or Meknes. Visit of Meknes with our local guide. Built on a hill, it is visible from afar with its countless minarets. It reached its peak during the reign of Moulay Ismaïl: its monumental gates, Bab El Mansour and Bab El Khamis; the El Hedime square, between the old city and the imperial city. Visit of the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the only mosque open to non-Muslims. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.

Breakfast then departure for Rabat. Lunch (not included). Then visit with a local guide the administrative capital: the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the magnificent Chellah Necropolis. We will conclude by the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast followed by departure for Casablanca. Upon arrival, lunch (not included). Exterior of the Hassan II Mosque (interior visit of the Mosque is optional + 140 MAD / pax and must be arranged in advance – closed on Friday, Sunday afternoon, and public holidays – first visit at 09h00 AM last visite at 2h00 PM), the Arab League park, the city center with its Art Deco architecture, and the Habous district, a typical area established by the French during the protectorate. Then we will head to the Ain Diab corniche and check in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. Morning departure for Azemmour then El Jadida and visit with a local guide of the Portuguese city (visit of the cistern, a real architectural feat, subject to reopening and payable directly on site).Lunch (not included). Return to Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.

Breakfast. Free time until transfer to the airport for departure.
