Itinerary
Arrival at Marrakech Ménara Airport. Welcome and transfer to the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Morning historical discovery of Marrakech: the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara gardens. Lunch (not included), then departure for Essaouira "the former Mogador". Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and walk inside the ramparts that house a medina with strong Portuguese and Moorish influences, featuring its shopping streets, a small shaded square, and Moorish cafe terraces. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Morning dedicated to visiting the fishing port located at the end of a long and beautiful fine sand beach, arranged at the foot of the ramparts. The colorful fishing boats and fishermen repairing their nets provide a permanent spectacle. Visit the Marine Gate and the Mellah. Lunch (not included) and departure for Agadir along the Atlantic coast. Check-in at the hotel / riad. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure for Taroudant along the Souss plain. Discovery of this small picturesque town protected by superb ochre-colored ramparts surrounding gardens planted with Mediterranean species. Crossing the land of the Argan trees favored by goats. Lunch (not included) in Taliouine, known for its saffron cultivation, before continuing our journey towards Zagora. Upon arrival, check-in, dinner, and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Discovery of the Zagora palm grove and departure for Nekob along the Drâa river, lined with a lush palm grove and stunning mud-brick Ksours. After Tazzarine, continu to Erfoud then the village of Rissani, located in the vast Tafilalet palm grove, and lunch (not included). Discovery (external view) of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chérif, founder of the Alaouite dynasty, followed by a visit to Ksar El Fida. Check-in, dinner, and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast and departure for Tinerhir via Tinejdad, crossing a barren plain and discovering dried-up wells that mark the road and belong to an ancient irrigation system. Visit to the Todra Gorges, impressive granite cliffs reaching over 300 meters, at the bottom of which flows a spring known for its fertility-enhancing properties. Lunch (not included) and free time for a walk. Road to Ouarzazate along the Dadès Valley also called "the valley of the kasbahs" because of the impressive number of ksour and kasbahs with ochre colors that turn purple with the last rays of the sun. Crossing Berber villages: Boumalne, Kelaa M'gouna (village of roses) and Skoura. Dinner and overnight.
Departure for the visit of the Casbah of Aït Ben Haddou: a village famous for its Ksar, the most impressive in all of southern Morocco. Continuing on to Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains and the Tizin' Tichka pass. Lunch (not included) suggested in the medina in an old palace. In the afternoon, tour of the brown ochre ramparts, stroll through the lively and colorful souks of the medina, and on Djemâa El Fna square: snake charmers, acrobats, monkey trainers, fortune tellers. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.
Breakfast. Free time according to the flight schedule, then transfer to the airport.
