Itinerary

1 DAY
Departure for a " breath of fresh air " day in the foothills of the Middle Atlas. You will learn to make authentic mint tea at a local's home with pastries, then continue to Ifrane, a small climate resort surrounded by streams and a cedar forest nicknamed the little Moroccan Chamonix. Walk and stop in front of the statue of the famous Atlas lion. Then head to Azrou to join the site called Gouraud Cedar where you can approach the famous Atlas monkeys. Lunch in a Berber inn. Then visit Azrou, a trading crossroads of the Atlas located at 1250m altitude surrounded by mountains planted with holm oaks and cedars, which give it a special charm. The name of the town of Azrou comes from a large rocky peak located in the center of the town from the Berber word Aẓru, which means stone, rock. The urban quality of Azrou bears the stamp of the European style (red tile roofs). Azrou is especially known for having housed one of the first Berber colleges. Then return to Fez.
